The Western Union money transfer system has suspended operations in Russia and Belarus, the company said in a statement.

Previously, the company planned from April 1, 2022 to refuse to service transactions within Russia, focusing on international money transfers.

On March 10, the Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay mobile payment systems stopped working in the Russian Federation. Among other things, Google has limited the work of its digital store – only free applications are available for download to Russian users.

Earlier, cloud computing platform Amazon Web Services suspended the registration of new users from Russia and Belarus.

Recall that the Binance cryptocurrency exchange blocked transactions with Visa and Mastercard cards issued in the territory of the Russian Federation. As part of P2P trading, customers can use the plastic of Russian banks, with the exception of sanctioned credit institutions.
