“Russian air defense systems in the area of ​​​​the settlements of Fedorovka and Zavody in the Kharkiv region shot down two Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft in the air,” Konashenkov said.

He also said that an unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down in the vicinity of the village of Preobrazhenskoye in the Pavlograd region.

In addition, Konashenkov clarified that 113 objects were defeated by Russian missile forces and artillery.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as of April 17, since the beginning of the special operation, 136 aircraft, 249 anti-aircraft missile systems, 471 drones, 2308 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 254 multiple rocket launchers, 2171 units of special military vehicles, 998 field artillery pieces have been destroyed. and mortars.

According to him, the board was supposed to deliver a large batch of weapons supplied to Kiev by Western countries. At the same time, it was reported that the Russian military shot down two Ukrainian drones over the settlements of Lozovaya and Veselaya.
