Marketing spending in the crypto industry fell by 90%

According to an analytical report by the Sensor Tower agency, against the backdrop of a fall in the value of digital assets, companies’ spending on crypto advertising has decreased by 90%. The marketing campaign of the Gemini exchange platform in November 2021 was $3.8 million, while the data of May 2022 recorded a decrease in the indicator by 7.6 times to $500 thousand.

Analysts noted that the fees of media personalities for participating in advertising shootings became a large item of expenditure. Thanks to their reputation, the crypto community has replenished with new members. The recent weakening of the market has led investors to resent celebrities.
