The leadership of the technical sector of the crypto company Ava Labs confirmed the information that appeared earlier that it proposed the use of its own Avalanche blockchain to migrate the gaming platform of the Otherside metaverse. The company assured that they assessed the company’s capabilities and are ready to do it.
Their proposal is due to the fact that at the end of April 2022, the creators of the blockchain startup Otherside, represented by Yuga Labs, faced an Ethereum network congestion, as well as the problem of transaction cost spikes during the product launch. The partnership proposal was announced on the ApeCoin DAO forum, and a few hours later, the head of Ava Labs, Emin Gun Sirer, confirmed the team’s interest:
“The Otherside project will be able to continue its activities while hosted as an Avalanche subnet. The speed of the consensus protocol of the blockchain we developed will save the metaverse from the technical errors during high-volume trading operations that representatives of ApeCoin DAO faced. Own dedicated chain will provide better scalability than the capabilities of the current parent network.”
